Privacy policy
In short: we store only what you need to learn, show no ads, run no trackers and sell no data.
Updated 15 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Jasny Polski is an independent project by the developer behind pamware.com, who decides what data the service needs and is responsible for it.
For questions about your data, write to [email protected].
What we store
- Account: email, name, a password hash (the password itself is never stored) or your Google or Facebook ID if you sign in with them, and a link to your avatar.
- Settings: interface language, time zone, daily goal, your answers during setup (why you are learning, which level you start from) and your placement result.
- Learning: your answers to exercises and how they were graded, lesson progress, review cards, daily activity.
- What you send us: problem reports on exercises, a teacher application.
- Security: a sign-in log with the time, sign-in method, IP address and browser name. It protects accounts against password guessing.
What we do not do
- No ads, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
- No third-party analytics or trackers, and no advertising cookies.
- Your browser keeps only your sign-in key and chosen language, so you do not have to sign in or pick a language every time.
Who else processes data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the server, and sees the IP address of every request.
- Supabase hosts the database that holds your account and progress.
- Resend sends our emails: address confirmation and password resets.
- Google and Facebook, only if you sign in with them; we receive your name, email and avatar.
- Speech recognition in speaking exercises is done by your browser. In Chrome, Google processes the audio; we only receive the recognized text as your answer.
Why
Account and learning data are what make the course work: keeping your progress, scheduling reviews, checking answers. The sign-in log is for security. The only emails we send today are service emails.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete it, your account, progress and everything you sent are deleted at once. Records may stay in database backups for a while, until a newer backup replaces them.
Your rights
- Download everything we store about you: Settings → “Download my data”.
- Delete your account and all its data: Settings → “Delete account”.
- Correct your name and settings in your profile.
- If you are in the EU, complain to your country’s data protection authority.
Age
Jasny Polski is not meant for children under 16.
